Hi there, quick update, tomorrow will be better. I bought some things I thought I'd share and came to the conclusion that the only things i really really need for winter are smooth boots (i mean like non-suedeish) i think smooth is the wrong word (for the dutchies, i mean "glad" if you know a better translation tell me :$) and a smart camel winter coat which is also WARM. no cool looking coats in which you freeze for me.

PS I hereby promise to also make an effort to use all my make-up more often including the new things I bought. I love to buy good quality make and have that, yet it is in my room being full and pretty. so sad. tell me if you have ideas about styles that would look good on me :)

I made a wishlist for fall/winter plus an attempt to not shop as much as I used to because of not having much money and not needing much stuff. Bought a cute hat yesterday at topshop and that kind of put a stop to myself, don't know why but that was just last I guess. hm. weird. and I bought some days ago one of the things of my wishlist already, which will stay a surprise, will show you that tomorrow but it is so pretttyyy

Hi there. I want to give you guys a tip today. I've had SO many reactions and emails about this bracelet I have,

it is from a French designer which just operates in a small village in France (most things I found ugly, this I liked) and so it is not buyable at somewhere near you (not near me either though). I was in Essen (Germany) the other day and saw a look a like with a bit larger pins in darkgrey steel colour and mat silver colour at the Pieces store. So that must be already or in your local store soon. Forgot to check the price, sorry! But won't be more then 10 euros I guess.

Sorry for the lack of posts, but this had a reason; I was in Helsinki and Tallinn for the past few days. I did some SERIOUS shopping! Will show you that tomorrow as I feel like having a jetlag while that is impossible as the flight was short. Well that is; the way back. the way to my hotel was HORRIBLE thanks to KLM. I managed to have a journey of 12 hours from Amsterdam to Helsinki. Could have been in Los Angeles by the time I was in Helsinki. Flight overbooked, than flight much later, via Berlin, with both flights delays, omg. don't want to think back to it. Now, my holiday was not that awesome. expected more of both cities. Some things were for me quite conspicuously, I will manage them in a moment but first, don't get me wrong, I have nothing against Russians ;) these are just things I saw A LOT! Will update my buys and answer questions and put comments tomorrow!

Did you know;

- Russians were everywhere :|

- They seemed to either be unable to smile or hate to smile.

- Always had a zillion cookies at the breakfast table together in a bowl which the didn't ate (they took like 1) and the rest got thrown away. same with bread, cheese, jam, butter, fruit and pretty much anything really.

- They always waited for other people to put their card in the elevator (you had to put in a card in the elevator to be able to push the buttons so non-guests couldn't go up)

- Gina Tricot is like a new addiction for me (as you can see in tomorrow's post)

- Everything is extremely expensive in Helsinki (much worse then London)

- Everything is SOOOO cheap in Tallinn :| except for anything Inditex (Zara, Bershka, Stradivarius etc.) that was much more expensive.

- I have this sick love for old sovjet buildings/remains and got to see Lasnamae (old part of Tallinn) and loved it!

- People in Helsinki can get icecream and around and about each 10 meters in the street.

- toys in Tallinn are so outdated. I saw many things (exact things) I used to play with when I was a kid (about 12 years ago) in Helsinki and most of western Europe they are long gone and replaced by much more modern things.

- I have had a lot of problems finding healthy food around town in Helsinki. Can't see fries and burgers anymore for most time coming

- lost about 30 euros due to stupid costs with changing money from EURO to EST Krooni and vice versa :(

- most Finnish people speak English so well!

- I'm trying to learn Russian, as well as Irish (Gealic) and it is HARD.

- I had a swing chair in my room which was awesome <3

I'm such a bad blogger! Haven't done many posts lately, will try to do better. This is what I'm wearing today. I thought I did a nice job making pics yet they turn out to be bad, I made the background sharp instead of myself. Great that autotimer! Damn. Anyway, I'm having a few weeks of vacation now as school is done and work is only one day a week. Will have a summer job though but that is not till August. So,... fun thing time now! :)

Hi! This is what I wore today, well, most of today. I can only walk on my havaianas right now as those ties just pass by my mosquito bites. All other shoes rub over them somehow (not weird as you see the pic) and that HURTS! I'm FULL (took a picture of my feet, and that's just my feet, it's over my entire body.) Never knew I tasted this good. I have over 75. I scratched so much now it even hurts to put clothes on or sit. Bought all kind of things to put on them, hope something helps! Are you also bugged (that was a funny one hah? well maybe that's just me but I like wordjokes) by mosquitos or other insects?

Hi you guys. Lack of posts due to the horrible hot weather. I dont really care how I look as long as I don't feel too hot. I know some of you may like the 37 degrees celsius but I don't. Today I had to work and at my place there is not an air conditioning but air cooler (difference: air conditioning makes it okay; air cooler only takes of 5 degrees of the outside temperature) result: 32.5 degrees in the office :| SICK! When I got to the bus stop I had to take busses said to have air conditioning but definetaly felt like air cooler or more like air heather. Result when I arrived at the city to change buslines; 1 liter of slushpuppy. Came home; 1 bowl of strawberries and a liter of CoolBest juice :| I felt like an overheat sahara. Anyway enough about my thirsty self.

Sorry for the lack of updates. I'm in the last weeks of school; projects due like right NOW, tests, presentations. I'm very busy but still, not any good for not posting at my blog. I had my minor English language and culture today (last lesson this schoolyear) and had my intermediate exame (only grammar) and oh my god; 6.7! out of 10! BAD!!! The teacher said anything above 6 was good but come on? I've had English for 5 years in high school and 6 months in my minor. You should do better. CEF level was B2 which is high so I don't understand. I apologise already for my bad grammar what also must be on my blog!! Sorry!

New Finds and fashionology

Remember how I forgot to show you the fleamarket buy? I added a cool triftshop buy. So cool, the sweater was 50 eurocents (that's about 0.40 UK Pounds and 0.60 US Dollars) and the blouse cost me 2.50 euros, (that's about 2.10 UK Pounds and 3.05 US Dollars). They look much better in real. The blouse is little see through, black, double button pad, great fabric, good details. The sweater in real life is soft fabric, soft mint green colour and great details. Happy.

Today I'd like to share my wishlist with you! Some of these things I've been wanting for a long time. For example the bag, heels and jacket. They aren't sold anymore so Ebay has to help here, though it hasn't done much of the helping till now. Saw those sinitta's twice, one time size 39 (uk 6 us 8) and one time size 40 (uk 7 us 9). Both too big, I need a size 38. So if you ever spot them and don't want them yourself, please let me know. Also if your selling one of these lovely things. The jacket I'm looking at a size UK 14 or 16 I guess, not sure how it runs. Btw, none of this stuff really matches with one another, shouldn't see it like that :)

New Finds

Hi there! I would love to share some new finds with you! I'm trying to cut down a bit on shopping, think it went okay. not great but okay. not bad either though! I bought a lot less than I used to. These are rescent buys, forgot a very cool mint sweater I found on a fleamarket I wrote about going to. Will show you guys that one later for sure!

Blouse: Primark. I actually want to make it like the one I adore at the right of my blog (you see a pic) with DIY. don't how that will turn out but this one was only 11 euros (that's about 14 US Dollars and 10 UK pounds) which is not too much if I ruin it, although that would still suck.

Skirt: Zara. I have to of this model already but they fit so nicely and since I don't have anything this shade of yellow (really babysoftish) I decided to buy it. Only 7.95 euros (that's about US 10 dollars and 7 UK pounds) not much either! Got it as a gift from my mom.

Dress: H&M Trend. This one was first 50 euros which I found a little too much for something I liked but not loved. Then, all of a sudden, I bumped into it again in Utrecht for only 19 euros (that's about 23 US dollars and 16 UK pounds)! So decision was made quickly: buy! It fits so nice! Really makes you look slim (doesn't seem logical; has no form in it, but you don't see any fat or irregularments (is that a word?) haha). feels like a blanket.

Shorts: Zara. Showed you this already. Got it from my mom when shopping. It fits really nice although now I'm loosing weight and the thing is being worn it's getting wider/bigger, I should have taken a size smaller. oh well. It was 19.95 euros (that's about 24 US Dollars and 17 UK Pounds)
In the end I spent 30 euros on this (as I got the shorts and the skirt as a gift from my mom). But for me it's more about the quantity (don't want to have too much, makes me happier to have less, how weird that may sound). Butttttt.... this also helps me saving. So works both ways. Happy.

Tried to give my body some color today. I'm really really white in real life. like albino. I don't mind that in the winter but in the summer I do. The thing under the top is a kind of sports bikinitop haha, did not know they excisted but also quite handy for beach volleybal, normal bikinis don't give much support.

To react maybe to the last post, I don't know whether I should but one of my readers, mentioned, and I'll translate first:

Just as a matter of fact, you should dress more according to your figure. Because in many things you wear I think you look fatter than you maybe really are. I just wanted you to know that.

I have been thinking about this. I know I'm not thin or whatever, never said or will say that. But I stopted hiding. I did as I was younger because I got bullied in school and my mom was always hard on me when it came to my figure. But I just want to wear things I like. Ofcourse I don't put really short shorts on when I'm going to school/work. But when in the garden/sports/friends/beach I do. I know when I see the pics this is a little fatter than when I look in the mirror but thats also what the camera does. I want to wear things that fit nice and I like and I'm also working on my figure (lot of sports, medication for my disease). Hope you understand.

Hi! I've had a very exhausting day. School work, shopping, basketball, laying in the sun. Not too bad though haha. I made pictures of my outfit for tonight. Ouch. I'm a sucker for not shopping. Sticked to it for about 2 weeks (with as an exception the white tee) today I couldn't resist sandals. damn. I'm from now on going to do it differently. Not no shopping but limited shopping. Only buying things I really really really like (and don't say thjat about everything) only buy things I have a lack of or things from a wishlist. Or even better: all these three combined!! Last see shall we?

Today quick outfit post. Gonna save my money for a new camera. Why keep my pics getting worse and worse! If I photograph something close, no problem, very pretty. If I photograph something further away, depends. If my mom takes pics (like now) they always suck. weird. anyway. Good recommendations for cameras? I'm looking for something in the digital SLR (single lence reflex camera / spiegelreflexcamera) range. What are cheap good cameras what you'd be positive about, you guys all have so pretty pictures! I think though a good SLR is not cheap :P

Today I had not much inspiration, yet, I got my order from Asos, this jeans was part of that. My pics seriously suck. When I see pics of you guys you see "the details" of the clothing much better if you know what I mean. Maybe it's my klunziness or just that my camera happens to be a Canon PowerShot A720 IS. Wondering where ther Power of the PowerShot went...
I also am going quite well on my no shopping thing, a week now, although I had some exceptions:
- present for grandma birthday
- shopping with my mom end of May as she promised long time ago
- army Zara pants but replaced that one for the white tee I'm wearing at this pic. Saw the pants again, loved them, tried them on, hated them. Waaaaaay to long for shorty me. bummer. So I stood there, thought and said no to myself. You have enough and you're not going to be another pair of pants that ain't perfect. *proud* although that is kind of contradictional, as these jeans I just ordered randomly from Asos. Oh well, that was before this big bowl of wisdom came in ;)
Just fit ok, not absolutely great but I'm too lazy to send back besides, it costs about the price of the jeans.

Still, I want perfect jeans. and pants. P-E-R-F-E-C-T. That menas to me: no belt needed. no sliding down. no but-view. not making me look fatter than I am. even better: slimming a bit. Not above 150 euros. Anyone got good recommendations? I have tried so far:
- Seven for all man kind: good jeans, very good quality, needs a belt though. (was on sale, normally to expensive for me unfourtunately)
- Indian Rose: beautiful, but needs a belt.
- My God: very nice, love the fit and details, but very low also so not perfect!
- Cheap Monday: weird fit: low back, high front :S
- H&M: just weird. wrong. made for a tree.
- Zara: way too long for me, and often 42 is even small :(
- Only: blah, "loopt uit" how do say that in English? Tends to grow bigger by washing and
wearing?
- Lee: slides down
- 10feet: okay, but too long
- Bershka: too low
- some others I might have forgotten.

my bikinis! I have a lack of inspiration right now, ain't waering an inspiring outfit at all and try not buy anything so can't show you that. Instead, today I tried to clear the mess in my room, including checking which things I still have but forgot about. Such as bikinis. I'm so not gonna buy anything new! Damn. had no clue I still have this much. And I use like 2/3 pairs each YEAR! das zund (as we Dutch people would say) no proper English term for that, closest would be it's a shame I guess? A sin is a little bit overdone. Anyway, enjoy, these are just the sets, I have some loose tops and bottoms that don't match too but they are not on the picture.

I wanted to wear my new white & cream items. They make me look fat which I already expected but still, I don't wanna wear black all the time so I just went with it. Also, quite funny, I heard a zooming noise, looked up and at the left, about maybe 20 meters up (i'm not that good with estimating) was an air balloon! How awesome! Made a pic.
PS the black shoes are really a dealbreaker though :( I found out too late that I also own white jazz shoes with laces :(

I shopped my butt off! hahaha! Now I'm not allowed to shop anymore, as I have to save for the holidays (and summersale :P) hope I can do it! Today I'm wearing my new beige Patrizia Pepe pants, I hope I get thinner soon so my legs fit prettier into these pants. or looser really :P I've lost 17 kilos since September 2009 as I started with taking medication for my disease (I'm having the disease of Hashimoto). I used to be way fatter which realy bothered me so I'm already happy but not content if you now what I mean. I'm now a size 40 (about UK 14 US 10 that is) and hope to go to a 36. So keep that in mind when you see this picture haha.

My legs were so red after saving that I had to cover them a little by using the dodge tool :P (photoshop). really can't stand shaving but hairy legs is no option.

Don't you guys in Holland just love the current weather? I could go to school (half past 8) in shorts!!!! It was not cold at all. Here a few pictures. Next, I went to see the new Sting store in Eindhoven yesterday. I hate sting actually I think it's way too beachy if you now what I mean. Yug. Only costes sometimes has nice things. Anyway. For me the store design was all I wanted to see. It is amazing. Verrrrryyy high ceiling (I estimate about 20 meters!!!!) and very dark at the first floor, upstairs it was bright and huge. Like huge as AH XL for the Dutchies. Or like 4 times a H&M. The outside was also very pretty, hard to explain, there was the wall and the shop itself was further behind. I made some pics with my phone, unfourtunately they did not turn out that great, which I already expected 'cause camera of my phone sucks. Yet I couldn't make pics with my digital camera, not allowed. The interior with lights and everything made me think a little of Monkey! Enjoy!

Excuse me for the ugly pictures, should have hung the clothes though, stupid. Anyway. The trousers are in really life more skinny at the bottom than they look at the photo. Besides the prices of these are far more interesting; was 219 euros, now 45 euros! Absolutely fabulous if I may say so! The pants are from a brand called Patrizia Pepe. I was in love with the pants from the first moment I saw them. I can't really explain how the front is made, it's quite complicated but there are a few layers, tighted togetter with buttons. Maybe you can imagine. The fabric is also very comfortable, it's like thick fabric but yet elegant. It feels like the fabric they use for joggers, but it in real life looks like it isn't haha!
The two leggings are also quite comfy, they are from H&M and were 14,95 a piece. Will wear these beauties in some outfits soon!

Like topshop wasn't enough: Monki is coming to NL! Hurray! They are going to open a shop in Amsterdam! Monki is owned by H&M and they want to create shop outside of Scandinavia which I really don't mind, I love it! haha! For those not familiair with Monki: http://monkiworld.com/

Rumor has it that Topshop is going to come to Holland! Even the dutch newspaper "Spits" had it mentioned. They must have done good research! I was absolutely happy about this! Ofcourse it's not coming to my "little town" Eindhoven, most likely it's coming to Rotterdam. But that ain't so bad either; not everybody has the same outfit that way, besides, I can combine Primark, River Island, New Look, H&M trend and Topshop in one trip then, so not bad at all! What do you think about this news?

How original, haha. But I recieved my online order from H&M and I like to show you guys. Pictures are a little crappy, light was bad but I was so excited I couldn't wait. Also, the pictures are a little weird because I rushed and cut off the background because there was one big mess.
I'm keeping everything but the red dress, it's like a very bright orangish red, which I personally don't like too much though.
